NYE 2015. Tara and Steve’s wedding at The Fairmont Hotel was the way to ring in the New Year! It was actually nice and a bit cold in Seattle that day, but at least with the guys we got to go outside while there was still daylight to get some portraits; and drinks. For Tara and the girls all was smooth until we found out the dress was a bit too long and this is the first time I’ve seen a dress literally cut with scissors by the bridesmaids on the wedding day, makes for an exciting story! The Grand Staircase and Spanish Ballroom was a beautiful setting for the ceremony officiated by Annemarie Juhlian, and afterwards, we sped through the hotel for some portraits. Holly of Perfectly Posh Weddings definitely made the day smooth from the prewedding to wedding to the reception! Afterwards, the reception was fantastic. Steve’s performance on the guitar was only out done by Tara and Steve’s choreographed first dance. The live band The Nines were amazing, the best way to rock in the new year and surprise fog on the dance floor by Crimson Haze Event Lighting made the count down even more exciting!
